August 2009 is a Month of Tips & Tools

The Society of Certified Senior Advisors is excited to bring you a full month of new tips and tools designed specifically for your senior clients. You asked for additional educational items and we listened. Each week in August, you'll receive something special in your inbox from SCSA. These items will include things such as:

  1. Helpful handouts and guides you can personalize to connect with your senior clients, help them learn about new issues and show them you care about their success
  2. Educational articles to keep you up to speed on information, trends, services and other important things that you can use when consulting with your senior clients
  3. And anything else we've discovered recently that will help you become more skilled and knowledgeable about the seniors you love to serve!

Topics of the tips and handouts include fraud prevention and advice, travel tips, information on caregiving, and more! In addition, we have drafted email templates that make it easy for you to simply copy and paste into your own email or letterhead and produce these items for your clients to access.

Please contact if you haven’t seen any emails from us lately and make sure you are set to receive these great handouts for your clients.

ABOUT SCSA. SCSA was established in 1997 to enhance education and standards among professionals working with senior citizens. SCSA’s mission is to educate professionals to work more effectively with their senior clients. We believe that the right kind of planning, recommendations and referrals can make aging a state to be savored instead of a fate to fear. For those who work with seniors, this means understanding the key health, social and financial factors that are important to seniors—and how these factors work together. CSAs are able to integrate this into their professional practices, no matter what field they’re in. They’ve learned how incredibly gratifying it is to help seniors achieve their goals, and the seniors they’ve worked with have learned how important it is to work with someone who truly understands their age-related circumstances.
